Can I truncate the Bezier curve to an arbitrary t value from 0, instead of the full range of 0 to 1?
There is no built in feature to do this, however I believe you could calculate the new poles of the truncated Bezier curve using De Casteljau’s algorithm implemented in a script.
Another option would be to calculate the coordinates of the point on the curve where you would like to truncate the curve using the Bezier path equation, then place another structure with a lower mesh order on top of it to cover the curve from that point onward. Depending on the details of your structure it may be difficult to angle this second structure properly, make sure it doesn’t cover any other structures, etc.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
