Travelling Wave Optical Modulator: Interconnect

Optical Modulator.

Optical carrier flanked by sidebands after the modulation.

3. Description of the problem or issue.

I am trying to modulate a CW laser light using the in-built Travelling Wave Optical Modulator in Interconnect. However, I am getting the same output in the OSA irrespective of whether I have connected the RF source or not. My aim is to see the modulated sidebands after the modulator.

To use the travelling wave modulator you need to use Electrical Connector elements to define the impedence properties. See the documentation for an example of how to use this element:
