There are action buttons at the bottom of each post:

To let someone know that you enjoyed and appreciated their post, use the like button. Giving and receiving likes helps to enhance your standing in the forum and open up new user privileges.

If you see a problem with someone’s post, privately let them, or our staff, know about it with the flag button. You can also share a link to a post, or bookmark it for later reference on your user page.

When someone replies to you, quotes your post, or mentions your @username, a number will immediately appear in the forum navigation bar near the top right of the page. Use it to access your notifications.

Don’t worry about missing a reply – by default you’ll be emailed any notifications while you’re away. You can configure how the site interacts with you via email in your preferences.

Your Preferences

Manage your forum profile, configure viewing and email digest settings, and track topics of interest in your personal preferences. In those settings, you can also showcase your expertise and background to your forum colleagues.

The more you participate, the more trust you earn from the community. If you participate enough, the site will automatically reward you by enhancing your user privileges and trust level to help manage the community.
