Problem increasing the number of cells by using a mesh override region

I am trying to increase the number of EME cells used in the attached example: spot_size_converter.lms (369.9 KB)

I have enabled the ‘override x mesh’ option of the mesh override region and set the ‘x mesh multiplier’ to 5. Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to work. The simulation results are not changing. Please explain.

When using the EME solver region, the x-direction is the direction of propagation, and the discretization along the x-direction is specified by the number of cells in the solver region. The mesh override region can be used to specify the mesh in the transverse directions (y and z).

The number of cells used in each cell group region along the x-direction can be changed by editing the EME solver under the “EME setup” tab.
