Is it possible to expand a compound element with a lsf script command (exactly what right-click->expand does)? I want to modify the properties of the elements inside the compound by using script. I haven’t found a way to do so since the elements are not in scope and cannot be selected.

Hi @alexdale, yes, it is possible to go into a compound element and edit the elements inside it by using script commands. You just need to use the scope sign “::” to achieve this, it allows you go from a parent level to its children level.

e.g., select(“COMPOUND_1::WGD_1”);

Check out this example file scope_example.lsf (423 Bytes) :grinning:
