Dear Sir/Mrs,

Concerning grating projections.
1- for this command
?G; # grating results
?G*T; # normalized to source power

when we normalize the transmitted power from certain grating order why do we multiply by the T not dividing by T?

G=grating(mname);   # power to each order (fraction of transmitted power)
T=transmission(mname); # total power transmitted through monitor (fraction of source power)


G returns the fraction of power in each order assuming transmission is 1. This result might be multiplied by transmission if we want to obtain actual power in each order.
