The elements in the Element Library in INTERCONNECT usually have the properties in the following categories, detailed properties are defined under each of the categories:
General properties that apply for all elements in INTERCONNECT.
Standard properties that are related to the main functionality of each element. The user needs to make sure the standard element values are correspond to the desired functionality of the element.
Specialized properties for the element.
Properties that define the polarization of the element.
Properties that characterize the waveguide modes.
Properties of the numerical model that is required to define the element’s functionality. This includes properties associated with randomization and noise.
Simulation properties for the element.
Visualization and annotation properties for analyzer displays.
