Electric field of semiconductor nanoparticle


I tried to simulate the electric field distribution of a doped semiconductor nanoparticle by FDTD. But the electric field I got is not quite continuous along the x-y plane. I tried to minimize the mesh size to 2 nm to conquer the problem. But it didn’t change much. The monitor I used is the frequency domain field and power monitor. What else can I do to get a smooth continuous electric field distribution diagram?
