Unfortunately it’s not possible to calculate the orientation of the liquid crystal for different applied voltages, however if you already have information about the liquid crystal orientation as a function of space, it would be possible to represent this in the simulation.
If you don’t know the exact correlation between voltage and liquid crystal orientation, it might still be possible to determine the trend of the effective index over voltage. For example if you know that the liquid crystal goes from a vertical orientation to horizontal as you increase the voltage, you could still run a series of simulations where the liquid crystal orientation angle varies from vertical to horizontal to see the trend in the results.
